Brad Perez has built his racing career through hard work, persistence and an unwavering commitment to the sport.

Without the financial backing or family connections that many drivers rely on to launch their careers, Perez began racing at age 17 after spending much of his childhood believing the opportunity simply wasn't possible. While balancing two jobs and finishing high school, he learned every aspect of the sport, from wrenching on his own kart to finding sponsorship, eventually finishing second in the South Florida Karting Cup in just his second season with three victories.

Following graduation in 2015, Perez transitioned to Spec Miata competition while volunteering whenever NASCAR visited his home track at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Those weekends allowed him to build relationships throughout the industry while continuing to develop behind the wheel. In 2018, he earned podium finishes in 11 of 13 SCCA Spec Miata races, including nine victories, before turning his focus toward stock car racing.

Perez relocated to North Carolina in 2019 to pursue a career in NASCAR, working full-time for race teams while continuing to create opportunities to race. Over the years, he has worked throughout the motorsports industry as a mechanic, tire specialist, spotter, performance driving instructor, coach and marketing representative, gaining experience in nearly every facet of the sport while continuing to use his network to build his own driving career.

That experience has helped shape Perez into one of the sport's most versatile competitors. As of July 2026, he has made 23 starts in the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series, five starts in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series, five ARCA Menards Series starts and three ARCA Menards Series West starts.
